The Basics

For Christians, Workplace Connections is all about the ABC’s:

  • A – Accepting humility
  • B – Believing in godliness
  • C – Communicating the gospel effectively

Having a humble spirit in the workplace allows believers to form genuine, respectful relationships. Humility makes a believer trustworthy, regardless of the worldview of coworkers. But humility alone isn’t enough. The believer must also pursue godly character.

Living a Godly Life at Work

When Christians conduct themselves in a godly way, it builds credibility with both peers and leadership. This kind of consistent, authentic behavior demonstrates integrity—and it earns respect. We must strive to be the same person every day of the week, not just on Sundays.

As trust is built and lines of communication are opened, we have the opportunity to both support fellow believers  and witness to non-believers. We share how Christ has transformed, guided, and sustained our lives. This is ministry.
Ministry Through Work

Our lives become ministry when we:

  • Do our work with excellence
  • Support coworkers through personal struggles
  • Help others pursue their God-given tasks
  •  Meet the needs of the poor, widows, orphans, and elderly
  •  Keep the church informed about needs—financial, material, or practical
Know What You Believe Before You Share It
Before expressing what we believe, we must truly know what we believe. Too often, Christians unintentionally offend others through thoughtless words or harsh behavior. These actions can push people away from Christ, rather than draw them toward Him. Our mission is not about arguing. It’s about living out our faith in a way that points people to Jesus.
Faith from Sunday to Saturday
God created work. He ordained it. And He has given it purpose. The disconnect today is how many believers fail to carry Sunday’s faith into Monday’s work. But it doesn’t have to be this way. If you want to live with purpose and make a real impact, take your Sunday conduct with you throughout the work week. Blessings, until next time…
